Before joining MERICS, he was an Associate Consultant and Project Consultant at APCO Worldwide in Frankfurt am Main and Beijing. Alexander holds a Master’s degree in international political economy from Peking University, and a Bachelor in politics and international relations from the University of Melbourne.
