Youngsun Jeong was a MERICS Fellow and specializes in international political economy (IPE) with a focus on China’s political economy, US–China strategic competition, digital transformation, and platform businesses. Youngsun is a PhD candidate in Political Science at Chung-Ang University in South Korea. She has previously worked at the Polish Institute of International Affairs and at the Institute for Democracy of the Democratic Party of Korea.
