A portrait of John Lee
Senior Analyst

John Lee's research focuses on the rise of Chinese digital technology and its international effects, bringing together political economy, international relations and security studies perspectives. He holds an MA in War Studies from King's College London and an LLM specializing in International Law from the Australian National University. Previously he worked for Australia's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Australian Department of Defense, and for the Australian Strategic Policy Institute.

From May to July 2016 John Lee was Visiting Academic Fellow at MERICS.
