Studie von Europäischer Handelskammer in China (EUCCC) in Zusammenarbeit mit MERICS
In ihrer neuesten gemeinsamen Studie "Decoupling: Severed Ties and Patchwork Globalisation" analysieren die Europäische Handelskammer in China (EUCCC) und MERICS aktuelle Dynamiken, Aspekte und Kosten der Entkopplung von und durch China.
Die Studie wurde von Ester Cañada Amela, Tom Groot Haar, Jacob Gunter und Carl Hayward von EUCCC und Rebecca Arcesati, Mikko Huotari, John Lee, Caroline Meinhardt und Max J. Zenglein von MERICS verfasst. Der Bericht kommt zu dem Schluss, dass der Handelskrieg zwar weitgehend sein Ziel verfehlt hat, Unternehmen in ihre Heimatländer zurückzudrängen, der Technologiekrieg aber sowohl Unternehmen als auch Volkswirtschaften echten Schaden zufügt. Da die Entkopplungsdynamik keine Anzeichen einer Umkehr zeigt, werden schnell Lösungen benötigt, um mit dieser neuen Realität der "Patchwork-Globalisierung" umzugehen.
